And DIXIE Was Her Name-O...

Dixie

Well... it was a bittersweet night at our house tonight. The sweet little pup that showed up at our house late Monday evening has been reunited with her family. We're gonna miss her loving spirit, but we're happy she's back where she belongs. Dixie was {GREATLY} missed!

Maybe we'll meet again someday soon Dixie!

No Words Can Say...

No words can say... how stinkin' {CUTE} this little girl is!

Sweet Baby 2

Look what the "cat", Oh... I mean kids drug in! :) This cutie showed up at our house late last night. She is absolutely the sweetest puppy ever! I've had experience with several pups in my life and this one is {ONE OF A KIND}. She's SO... very loving, sincere and kind.

I'm not sure what breed she is, but she appears to be a mix between a Boxer/English Bulldog. All I know is neither the kids nor I care what breed she is, we simply know she's {AMAZING}.

The kids are sadly looking for her owners, but no luck as of yet. In the meantime, the kids and myself of course are enjoying her company. We will forever cherish the time we have been given with her. What a wonderful addition she would be to any family.

She's a shoe in!

Them Bones... Them Bones...

Well, today was somewhat of a productive "crafting" day for me, I guess... :) I'm in the process of remodeling our bonus room and my craft room and WOW do I have a tone of junk! But... it's all good or GREAT crafting junk. :) I can't wait to get everything back together so I can get back to doing what I love, stampin' and craftin"! Wish me luck!

I took a "little" break from organizing today to help my daughter Hannah make our fur babies some homemade dog bones. What fun that was! Hannah did a great job! They turned out perfect and Ernie and Lana loved them, so I'd say our bones were Taste-A-Licious!

Today we decided to make peanut butter dog bones, mainly because we had all of the ingredients in the pantry. :) That's always important... Hannah is so excited about her cooking experience that she wants to make more tomorrow after school and some "special" bones for Valentines! Stay tuned for those, they're SUPER cute!

So... Ernie and Lana have happy full tummy's tonight! They should sleep very well. The kids had them really performing today so they could earn one of their freshly baked La'Ernie Bones! Hah... :)
Here's Lana, after eating a few of the bones. Note the glazed look of love in her eyes! JK... that's my terrible photography skills as their BEST. :) I'm trying.

Oh, last but not least, here's my not so happy baby girl. :( She wanted to help, but didn't at the same time. Is it nap time? I think SO! Nite, nite baby Ella Hope...

Sit Boy! Sit...

So... my smallest furr baby has something going on with his skin/coat. He can't stop scratching his back! Poor buddy...
This scratching thing is really getting US down. I feel SO... bad for the little guy. I bathed him with some "special" anti-itch shampoo that I got from the vet, but it only seems to help for the moment. I'm really thinking it has something to do with his food? Humm....
I've done a little research on the internet and I ran across a homespun remedy that is suppose to cure the ITCH! Wanna know the secret.... Here it is!
OLIVE OIL

Yep, that's what I said too! Olive Oil, really? The recipe is 1 tablespoon of olive oil 2-3 time per week. You just drizzle it on his food and WA-LA, the itching will be gone! So I decided to give it a try. It's easy enough and who doesn't already have olive oil in their kitchen cabinet?

I really hope it works. I can only imagine how miserable he must feel.

Today was Ernie's first olive oil treatment. He loved it! After he filled his little belly he jumped straight in his favorite sitting spot. To document the day, I decided to take his picture but... after the shot above, he decided that was it! He started shaking and then he ran from the camera! What's that all about? There he goes!

After that photo shoot I think you deserve a treat boy!
