Busy, Busy Easter Sunday... Bunny Cake Surprise

Another beautiful Easter has come and gone and so has my baby Ella's 2nd birthday.  We had such a wonderful fun and {full} Easter weekend! Lots of memories created with both friends and family.  Times that we will not soon forget...

The kids had a {blast} at a Easter party Saturday afternoon, followed up by a trip to our local drive in to see the movie How To Train Your Dragon.  Yes... we still have a drive in movie theater! Can you believe it? It's a terrific place to watch a movie with friends on a cool crisp spring night.  The kiddos so... enjoyed spending time with their friends which makes all of the above worth every minute!  (--)

Here's a few pictures of Ella's birthday celebration on Easter sunday. Just Five and A High Chair attended this party... her actual "birthday" party with friends will be next weekend.

Since Ella's birthday was on Easter this year, I decided to surprise her and the other kiddos by making a bunny cake!  Perfect idea right?  I'm {no} professional cake baker, but I gave it a shot knowing she'd love it no matter what!  Children are very forgiving you know.  Thank goodness for that...
Mr. Bunny was kinda cute minus the ugly aluminum foil... Ughhh...  Ignore the foil!  No cake decorating supplies in this house!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
