Baby Shower Invitation ~ Sweet "Little" Hippo
Here's my take on an "Invitation Challenge" I was asked to participate in! I chose to design a baby shower invite, since I'm due anytime now!!!!!! :-) (I think I'm down to single digits ~ 10 days or less!) I would have made these for my own baby shower, but that's just weird, so... I had a BALL making this one for the challenge.
I chose this color scheme so the invite could be used for a boy or girl. You can simply adjust the color scheme as you wish!
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful Thursday!
Jenn :-)

I love this card. can you please tell me the colors you used. measurements etc.
thanks
Monica
Thanks Monica! I really like this card too. :-)
The paper colors I chose are as follows:
Certainly Celery, Almost Amethyst, Barely Banana & Whisper White
The ink is classic Black & Apricot Appeal (blender pens).
I also used the Almost Amethyst pastel for the Hippo!
Apricot Appeal ribbon and matching pastel brad.
I used white embossing powder for the white dots on the belly band.
As for the measurements, the card is 5 1/4" X 8 1/2" ~ score it @ 2 1/4" on each end and then cut from the center which is 2 10/16". The two insert layers are 3 3/4" x 4 3/4" and 3 1/2" x 4 1/2". The belly bands measures 8 1/2" x 1", and you'll score it at 1/2" and again at 4". The top two layers under the stamp image is 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" and 2" x 3".
Whew... I think that's everything and I hope that it all makes sense! The card is really easy to make once you make one. Just give it a try! :-)
Thanks for looking and please stop back by and visit soon.

Love Love Love this invite I plan to use this for a upcoming baby shower for my daughter. Would like to know what stamp did you use for the circles on the belly band. Please advise.
I was just inquiring about what set the hippo belongs to from stampin up
